Kucing lapar matanya mengolok-olok keraguanku
Bintang-bintang liar kemana perginya
Tembok tua kaku diam tiada berkata
Aku sepi aku bungkam, mengadu pada hati
Pentas malam tiada berkarya
Kucing lapar itu,
hanya biarkan tikus permisi dihadapan mata liarnya
Anjing jalan itu,
kali ini tak menyalak, saat ini tak mengajak tikai pada kucing
Bukan berarti mereka damai
Anjing, kucing, tikus sedang tidak berkarya saja
Sama dipikirku jua
Tiada inspirasi malam
Hanya berlalu kosong
Sampai kapan?
